By integrating experimental techniques from immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry, these case studies teach students to think critically and synthesize their knowledge of immunology and other branches of science.
New Big Picture problems: With the importance of connecting concepts, and building on information, weve now added a brand new Big Picture question, easily identified, in each chapter.
Adaptive Quizzes: Adaptive Quizzes (formerly known as LearningCurve) now have more questions to ensure that students find the adaptive/extra questions useful in each chapter.
New In-Class Group Work activity: Weve created a big picture concept map, for in-class group work, that is included within the Active Lecture Slides.
