Similarity Checking

The Library assists the users in plagiarism checking using Turnitin Originality tool to its registered users. Turnitin, an online plagiarism detection and academic integrity platform widely utilized in educational institutions. Its primary role is to ensure the originality and authenticity of academic work, particularly in research and written assignments. Turnitin employs sophisticated algorithms to compare submitted documents against an extensive database containing academic papers, publications, and other online sources. Students are required to send the request along a soft copy of the document (i.e. thesis, dissertation, manuscript of article, assignment etc.) to be checked in PDF, DOCX file format through their Supervisor (Email to ). The Library has created separate accounts for the faculty, PDF and research scholars in Turnitin. The users who have credentials to access Turnitin, they may directly access it by visiting https://iiserbpr.turnitin.com/.

The Library has also access to DrillBit-Extreme.
